Introduction

OK, I’m one of those folk who would like to have the answers to everything; that turns out not to be the case.

I’m convinced, though, that many of the problems we’re dealing with in our society are the result, the fruit if you like, of systemic injustice that insidiously undermines the best intentions and the hardest work of so many of the well-intentioned.

This blog and the links that will appear here are the flashes from the front as we try and find a route through structures, institutions and traditions that like to keep people trapped.

In this journey, I unashamedly declare my faith in a God who wants us to practice justice, mercy and honesty in our everyday lives. For me, and millions of others, being a Christian includes a desire for wholeness and determination for justice that comes from living as an example, rather than moralising at people (which I’m in danger of doing now, so I’ll leave it there!)

My posts will end with a wish for grace and peace to the reader; grace for you from above, grace from you to others, and peace in your soul as much as in your nation.

Grace and peace,

Ed
